CDRC Outdoor Pool Program Registration Form
Important information (please note the information below is subject to change based on the COVID-19 situation at the time of the program and Ontario Government COVID-19 guidelines)
- Swimming lessons for those in Sea Turtle-Level 3 do not require an adult in the water. Swimmers registering in Starfish and Duck (Parent and Tot Classes) ages 4-30 months do require a parent/guardian to be in the water.
- Facility changerooms will be open and available for use for the 2022 summer season.
- Entrance to the pool deck for swimming lessons will be through the side gate (gate used in 2021).
- All 5 sessions of swimming lessons run Monday-Friday for 2 weeks. You will attend your class at the same time each day.
Swimming lesson session dates:
- Session 1: Monday July 4 - Friday July 15, 2022
- Session 2: Monday July 18 - Friday July 29, 2022
- Session 3: Monday August 1 - Friday August 12, 2022
- Session 4: Monday August 15 - Friday August 26, 2022
Swimming lesson types: June swimming lessons will be scheduled from 4:30-6:30pm. Sessions 1-4 of swimming lessons are offered from 8:30am-12:30pm and 4:30-6:45pm.
- Group Swimming Lesson: $82-101 per session, group lessons range from 30-60 minutes dependent on swim level
- Private swimming lessons: 1 swimmer and 1 instructor for 10, 30 minute lessons. Fee: $246.00 for 10 swimming lessons
- Semi private swimming lessons: 2 swimmers and 1 instructor for 10, 30 minute lessons. Additional participants can be added at $82.00 per child. Fee: $328.00 for 10 swimming lessons
- Adult/Teen Swim Basics: this program is designed for adults and teens who are new to swimming.
- Individual private or semi private lessons: this option is for those looking to practice their skills. Lessons are scheduled based on CDRC schedule and available upon request.
Advanced Aquatics Courses:
- Junior Lifeguard Camp (Ages 8-13 years, must successfully complete a swim test and be comfortable swimming in the deep end)
- Bronze Star (Ages 11 years+)
- Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid (must be 13 years by the end of the course or hold a Bronze Star certification)
- Bronze Cross (candidates must hold a Bronze Medallion certification)
- National Lifeguard (must be 15 years of age and hold a Standard First Aid CPR-C certification and Bronze Cross certification)
- Lifesaving Swim Instructors (Must be 15 years of age and hold a Bronze Cross certification)
Standard First Aid with CPR-C and AED (Blended learning course)
- Sunday June 5th, 2022
- Time: 9:00-4:00pm
- Fee: $160.00 plus HST
- Please note this is a blended learning course with one day of at home online training prior to the one day of in class training.
