Temporary Road/Lane/Sidewalk Occupancy
Application and Permit Form

Prior to completing this application form please read Road Occupancy Permit By-law 53-2022 in its entirety. 

Please complete this form if you fall into one of the below groups;
Construction, emergency purposes, building renovation and or equipment installation.

This application must be approved prior to the temporary occupancy going into effect. 

A road occupancy permit for the temporary closure of a highway shall be applied for at least 15 days prior to the intended date of the road closure. A road occupancy permit, for all other purposes shall be applied for at least 7 days prior to the intended date of the occupancy.

An Event/ Parade Permit shall be applied for at least 30 days prior to the event.
